<p>So what exactly is Branding and what is Marketing?</p>
<p>It is always very confusing between these two for people.</p>
<p>In today’s world, 94% of business owners, entrepreneurs and CEOs do not know the difference between Branding and Marketing.</p>
<p>So in actual fact, they are not maximizing the corporate profits they should have been capitalizing.</p>
<p>They are in actual fact losing 37% to 370% sales every single day.</p>
<p>So what is Branding?</p>
<p>Branding is differentiating oneself or your company from other companies. It is also what you do to differentiate your brand. In essence, Branding is Differentiation.</p>
<p>Example:</p>
<p>Apple brand itself as “Cool”. Apple differentiates itself from competitors by creating Cool products.</p>
<p>So what is Marketing?</p>
<p>Marketing is a set of strategies or tactics to communicate your differentiating idea (your brand) to your target clients.</p>
<p>Without marketing, your differentiation or your brand is of no use as nobody will be noticing you.</p>
<p>For example, Apple with its “Cool” image. But with Marketing, Apple’s products will still be known by only Steve Jobs.</p>
<p>There are many other well-known marketing, such as Advertising, Public Relations, Direct Marketing, Referral Marketing and Online Marketing.</p>
<p>In conclusion, Branding is Differentiation. It is USP (Unique Selling Proposition) for your business. Once you identify your brand USP, then you can start the marketing strategies to communicate your Brand to your target clients.</p>
